She’s campy and kooky. Thicc and Spooky. A tiny waist and a subtle face. Mia is a drag entertainer from CT. Mother and creator of the House of Lay, her skill sets are numerous! You can find her running drag shows around CT, doing Pokémon streams on twitch, and hiding from her surplus of unpaid parking tickets!

Kenya Mone Heart

She’s a melanin Queen living her Ultimate Dream, so press start…it’s Kenya Mone Heart!  She locally grown and bad to the BONE! From Hartford to New Haven, only 26  years of age and ready to take the Middletown stage!  I cant wait to perform for this year’s 2021 Middletown Pride and celebrate our community and allies. 

Showcase DJ

Ephraim Adamz

DJ, filmmaker, songwriter, and entertainer Ephraim Adamz made his debut on YouTube in 2014 with the viral music video “Twerk Bitch (You A Bottom)”. Since then he has collaborated with over fifteen Pride Festivals. Two are the largest in the United States, including Rhode Island Pride and Stonewall 50 WorldPride NYC 2019. During the Covid-19 pandemic he was one of twenty-four video editors to produce Global Pride 2020, the world’s largest LGBTQ+ virtual event in history.
In 2021 he directed the documentary “T-Girl: The Truth In Transitioning” which follows a trans woman’s journey through Gender Reassignment Surgery – YouTube.com/c/EphraimAdamz
A second documentary titled “Pride Before Covid” evaluates how the Covid-19 pandemic has impacted queer communities and is currently in post production for a 2021 release.
The same year he began working on his EP “Uprising 1969”, a retrospective on The Stonewall riots and the recent police brutality protests in response to the murder of George Floyd.

Astra Adonis

Make sure to relax your throat because you WILL be gagging. Astra is ready to slay and show their trans pride June 5th! They’re here to show up, show out and represent up for their hometown MIDDLETOWN!

Jocelyn LaFlare

Jocelyn LaFlare is a stunning CT queen who got her start doing pride charity drag shows at multiple state universities. She soon went on to compete in local drag competitions which helped develop her skills and versatility as a performer. Most recently Jocelyn started the Haus of LaFlare and is drag mother to Iridessa Søul LaFlare. As a multifaceted performer, Jocelyn has impersonated celebrities, fictional characters from literature & pop culture, and has done several performances utilizing special effects makeup. Widely known in CT for her love of shoes and frequently performing with her gold microphone, Jocelyn is guaranteed to provide energetic performances that audience members will enjoy as much as she enjoys entertaining.

Kalysta Kaykes

Kalysta Kaykes is a non binary drag entertainer based in Middletown, CT. Kalysta is known for pushing the boundaries of drag, doing multiple fire tricks including eating fire, and always being a supportive community member. You never know what to expect when they hit the stage but I can ensure you will have a great time watching them perform!

Kiki Lucia

Kiki (she/her) is a New Haven, CT-based drag performance artist with a vast training and performance background that includes numerous disciplines: classical ballet, aerial acrobatics, music theatre, modern dance, and acting. She also has a strong background in theatre production, directing, and costume and production design, and producing as well. She regularly performs throughout Connecticut as well as appears at events in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New York. Some notable roles she has portrayed on stage includes Sarah Sanderson in Hocus Pocus Live (Summer Orlando Productions), Roxie Hart in Chicago (Summer Orlando Productions), and as a featured performer in 3 different productions of Escapade: An Unusual Experience (Luis Antonio Productions)! Prior to the pandemic, her show Let’s Have a Kiki had regular performances at Partners Café in New Haven, Trevi Lounge in Fairfield, and the Chez Est in Hartford. Let’s Have a Kiki features a variety of regional drag performers and burlesque artists and celebrated its 50th show in August 2019. She was also a cast member of Ladies of Illusion and a regular guest artist of the Robin Banks Show at 168 York Street Cafe in New Haven and Lipstick, Lashes and Lies at Comix Roadhouse, Mohegan Sun. Kiki is excited to bring Let’s Have a Kiki to stages across the state as we safely reopen. When not performing, Kiki uses her experience as a non-profit and fundraising professional to raise awareness and funds for many LGBTQ+ organizations and causes, and serves as a member of the Imperial Sovereign Court of All Connecticut, Inc, where she holds the title of Monarch 20.

Loosey LaDuca

Loosey LaDuca has been entertaining audiences in New England for over ten years! Born and raised in CT, she is thrilled to be a part of any and all events that spread love and PRIDE. Having studied Musical Theatre at The Boston Conservatory, Loosey combines live singing, comedy, and celebrity impersonations in her act. Mz. October May Lay

Mz. October May Lay, Miss Chez Est 2019 and newly titled Miss Chez Est for Life, is a dynamic drag performer who has taken the CT Drag scene by storm. This unapologetically BLACK QUEEN isn’t only a queen on stage, with work Latino Community Services Project KIKI (Hartford), Q+, and pervious work at True Colors, this POC artist is on a mission to make their community a safe place for our LGBTQ+ community while making room for other POC performer to share their talents on stage. Her work goes beyond the stage and she would want to have it any other way.

Sativa Sarandon

Sativa Sarandon is a colorful drag clown from Bristol, CT. She is known for being campy, vampy, and a little bit crampy. She produces theatrical drag performances that are comedic, shocking, cerebral, and energizing. Sativa wishes you a happy and uplifting Pride season!

Shaded Soul

Shaded Soul has 34 years of experience providing top notch entertainment for some of CT biggest festivals, corporate and fundraising events in New England.  Shaded Soul is a high energy band that is known for their stage show and versatility in musical styles ranging from Motown, R & B, Rock, Swing, Soul and Top 40 Music.  They have opened up for several National superstars such as The Four Tops, Sister Sledge, Three Dog Night, Alicia Bridges, Howie Mandel, Mario just to name a few. Audiences say “Their energy is pure”, “Everybody from my Grandparents to my little kids enjoyed their performance”, “Amazing & fun to watch”, “and we give them a triple A+!”  Winners of the Hartford Magazine Readers Choice Award for “Best Band”.
